I'm replacing my CATS and the steel is very raw. I live in Snow country and just don't want them to rust up. I was wondering if anyone has a recommended coating or spray to cover the CATS before I install them.

Like it when the state was content to use red cinders instead of the salt mix they use today. Insulated garage is all you needed to let the snow melt and undercarriage dry off.

Not sure how any coating with do with baked on salt. Think aluminum or stainless steel are the best options.

Thanks for the tip... Have you personally used this product? If so how's it holding up.
I have used it can’t say how it is holding up as I no longer own the vehicle. As it is a ceramic paint that hardens like a glaze after the exhaust gets hot I would say it is a better option than stainless or aluminum but not as good as titanium.
