Hi Bill. Lety and I will be coming. Lety wants the turkey. I have a garlic allergy so will take whatever they can offer me that is garlic free, which will likely be the steak. Just make sure to let them know I am allergic to garlic. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing you all. Just hoping it will be a good day for me. Cheers.

Are you ok in direct sun?

Hi John:
Great to hear that you are well enough to attend our Christmas Party. Three months off work is tough on anybody. Thank God for our universal medical system, flawed as it may be. Look forward to seeing you Dec 6.
~Bill

Looking forward to seeing everyone and hoping I don't get so sick again that I would have to cancel. Don't worry, if I have to cancel at the last moment, I'll still pay for the meals. Nothing is definite with this f'ing illness.

Amy and I will be there, and we'll both have the Flat Iron Steak.

Thanks for doing the legwork on this, Bill.

ONLY 1 WEEK TO GO BEFORE XMAS PARTY! IF YOU HAVEN'T SIGNED UP YOUR MENU CHOICES, PLEASE DO SO ASAP...

Had a great time at the Christmas Party. It was good to see everyone. Happy Birthday to Becky!
Thanks for the great prizes :clap:. I will make good use of all of them. Thank you to Bill, and everyone that made this possible. You all did a great job , again. A special Thanks to Heidi for taking care of everyone again this year, good luck with school. Hope everyone has a good Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Thanks everyone for a great party! Thanks especially to Pete, Jason, Bill, and Mike who donated prizes for the raffle! Great food as well.

The Coastal Cruiser Christmas Party last night was a good time and everyone enjoyed getting together for the evening. Attending were Jeff & Becky, Lisa, Paul, Dan, Rob S, Gary T, John G & Lety, John V, Phillip V & Glenda, Ruwi & Elvira, Phil & Tracy, Barry, Lance, Kim & Brenda, Super Dave, Jeremy A, Pete & Paddi, Jason H, Mike McT, Brad & Sarah, Rob C, Steve T, and Bill & Willy.
Heidi was her usual lovely and talented self, and scrambled up and down the stairs tirelessly with our beverages. Incidentally, she actually has a couple of more years to go for her psychiatric nursing degree after all, so she may well be at the Pier 73 a while longer. Heidi contributed the attached Christmas card to the club, as well as 2 boxes of chocolates. Thanks Heidi, you really make the party sparkle.
Pier 73 Restaurant supplied delicious steaks and there were even a few left over for anybody who wanted seconds. We have always received good value from Pier 73 over the years and they are trying hard to keep their guests and clients happy with their new ownership changeover to Pacific Gateway, a local company instead of Delta Hotels.
Many thanks to several people who contributed to our raffle. Rob S did the main prizes shopping, and Mike R contributed an impressive heavy-duty drill/impact wrench set, Pete brought in a huge 5 day cooler, Jason H a cool set of LED lights, and Bill threw in a polisher, shovel, and camp organizer.
Lucky Lisa, of course, won the grand prize, the Milwaukee Fuel drill/impact set, plus the high-lift jack. We must thank Lisa for buying $100. worth of raffle tickets, which helped feed the club treasury which has been a bit low of late. Jeff luckily scored the tool box, as well as a battery booster device, plus the big cooler. Gary took the polisher and Phil won the way-cool collapsible camp organizer. Paul won the Lee Valley stainless shovel which may prove useful if his bus sometimes gets stuck in snow.
Our party ended about 11:00 and people drifted out into the rain. Jeff & Becky took the Elevator Home option as usual. Thanks everybody for a good time and another successful Coastal Cruiser Xmas party.
~Bill

Thanks everyone for a great night. It was good to get out and see all the old timers and a couple new faces. A special thanks to Bill and Rob for all the work I am sure they put into making the party happen. As usual, it is hard to beat the service of the Pier 73 staff, especially Heidi. Hope you all have a great Christmas and New Years. Remember to keep the shinier side up and the wheels down. :hillbilly:

And a special thanks to those who did not show up but had planned to, I thoroughly enjoyed the extra steak, soup, salad, and desert.

And if you want to win prizes next year, just sit at Lisa's table during the raffle!
