Clutch started to make a clicking sound when pressing down/engaging. FJ60 '87. any idea on what it could be?

Sounds like the pivot pin for the clutch master cylinder is moving around. There is a couple of bushings that are probably worn and causing the noise. Hard to know without looking under the dash. If that's what it is, it's probably safe to drive for a long time that way. Just make sure the bolt is actually tightened.
