Does the BJ70 Share the same clutch slave as the 60?

Good to know. It would be great to compile a list of ALL the shared parts between the 60 and 70.

Make sure there aren't any revisions during the model life. So for example the slave on a 85 BJ70 might be different than that of an 86 or 87 BJ70

I have them as the same part number across the board. Called Napa yesterday and they said they were the same number too
3B and 2F


Pulled my used one off my 2H and it matches the 3B also...


Where I'm showing a difference is
In April of 1985 the slave changed to a shorter pushrod.

My 84 2H slave is the same as the generic 2F slave.

The 85 BJ70 slave is a bit shorter, with the entry of the flex line at a different angle than on the 2F/H.

Its strange, I replaced the slave on my 89 BJ74 and the part number in the EPC stated that it was different than that of a BJ70 so I ordered it from Japan along with a new master. I believe I could have used a BJ70 slave but it ended up being cheaper getting it from Japan. Go figure.
