My 1992 4runner is making a really annoying squealing sound when it's under a load. From seeing a bad throw out bearing on another vehicle and watching videos online, from what I understand is that it makes a hissing sound when the clutch is DISENGAGED. When I first take off, especially up a hill or in reverse, and you let the clutch out, it squeals extremely loud. The sound is coming from the transmission area so we know it has to be the clutch. It's not the hissing sound that throw out bearings make at all, it almost sounds like a mouse. Its not slipping at all though, and my clutch engages like right in the middle of the pedal.
I'm going to try to attach a video of the sound. At first we though maybe it was the timing chain or exhaust because its got so many holes, but I think the clutch might be the best bet.
