I have just ordered the new slave and master cylinders, and they are on rush delivery...Hopefully I will have them by the end of the week.

Can anyone lend their expertise on sunday afternoon? I am planning to work on it then and if anyone can come make sure I do it right and don't mess anything up...that would be great.

I will be coming back from Oxford on Sunday morning so anytime in the afternoon works for me. I live in NE Jackson, just of Northside...and will post more detailed directions later.

many thanks in advance!!! Oh...and I can supply beer!!!

Let's see a show of hands, folks! The usual suspects are going to be swamped with last minute SCC plans, so we gotta have some new wrenchers step up to help on this one.

Here's what he needs help with:
bolt up the clutch master
bolt up the slave
bleed the system

I'll most likely be available. I need directions to your place William.

I can probably come by and drink most of your beer.

I live at:

4425 Hickory Ridge Road
Jackson, MS

Google it if you like or...

Get off I-55 at Northside and head east...towards the river.
stay on Northside as you cross old canton and Ridgewood...
NOrthside will narrow down to two lanes after you cross Ridgewood.
Keep on going and you will pass under a yellow blinking light. At the second blinking yellow light there is a sign that tells you the road forks into a Y. It is also a T at the same time. Hickory Ridge is the Right turn of the T. Take that right and I am about 7 houses down on the right...

You'll see the truck...

awesome....I will have you covered Jess...High Life or PBR?

No reason to go all out...cold and free pretty much seals the deal.

TIME: 2 oclock?

I will be getting back to town midday and will start working on it then. So come on whenever after 2.

I know this isn't as exciting as Lash's install...but it is gonna be good...

Parade one of those bitches out in the next few years and I will be more impressed! Where were you at the meeting?

I saw you on Lakeland in the "yahoo for my Subaru" at around 4:15 so that's not an excuse! Good luck on the M/C install.

got my parts so we are a go for sunday...It really doesn't look like it will be that hard. But who knows what kind of issues there will be.

It would be a good idea to spray the mounting bolts with a solvent like PB Blaster. Get them soaking now and it will reduce the chances of us stripping or breaking something. Ask me how I know.

alright alright alright....
There was beer and miss americas galore and I had em all to myself...luckily I didn't need any help...I got it done...and took around for a test. And everything checks out. Clutch feels great.

Thought I was going to have an issue when my old hose didn't fit into the new slave cyliner's hole. So I went to lowes and got a plumbing adapter to make it work!

Few more things to do and it looks like I'll be ready to go this weekend!

Alright..... You know that if you go to the river something is gonna go wrong. Save it for Gray Rock!

Later,
