Had this 60 for 10 years and a 40 for 10 before this and haven't come across this one yet! Did this 60 clutch about 7 years ago with all OEM parts. First time with the inspection cover off and it doesn't look bad. Also bled the clutch system with fresh fluid.

You can see in the video how the clicking is intermittent. Any ideas?

THANK YOU!

I wonder if you have something going on with the pressure plate. Or it could be that u shaped pin that holds the fork to the TO hub catching on the cast iron. Though, I can't imagine it would make THAT loud a noise. It's possible. I'm leaning towards the plate being broken somewhere internally.

Sounds like the pressure plate sound effect from minecraft.

Is the sound detectable when engine is running?
Does the clutch work normally while driving?
Could the sound be coming from the slave cylinder?

If the sound progressively gets worse as time goes on, the safe thing to do is drop the transmission and find out what’s causing the racket.

Thank for the replies.

I can hear it while driving and hot/cold doesn’t seem to make a difference on the intermittency.

Clutch works fine at the moment. Maybe feels a little soft? Just bled the system yesterday and it didn’t make a difference. Will make sure the slave is tight.

I appreciate any other thoughts!
