I spoke to Mike Hampel Monday and we went over a few things mentioned at the meeting to improve on the resin badges, from what I heard we had some folks that liked both badges but from what I saw on the sign up list we don't have half the number we need to pursue the chrome engraved version with a min of 40 badges needed. Its certainly something we can visit again later. To further pursue the resin versions what I need to know is what changes we think we need to to improve on so Mr Scott can make us another sample to see if its what we want the final product to be. The versions you saw at the meeting was a quick batch of materials he had on hand he didn't charge for them or the shipping and I certainly offered. I liked his sample it was light and would adhere to a tailgate or other place on the vehicle with some 3M tape like a factory emblem and have no problem holding on

. I'd just like to see the logo more clearly maybe with a clearer resin. This badge was meant to be an ornamental piece to show club affiliation but Mike brought up a great point it could also be used as a trading piece with other clubs. I would gladly purchase one to start the trend with Cottonland at SCC.
.Some other feedback I heard was weight some wanted something heavier or thicker not sure what the reasons were but Mike said he could oblige maybe with a thicker stainless steel backing or other. The other sample was chrome engraved so definitely a heavier piece.
.Also I know some would like captured nuts for a grille mount I'll ask about that as well but worst case I'm sure we could come up with something locally as well with some epoxy on the nuts to the backing and some bolts and rubber/plate with screws on the inside.
.Mike also said he was looking at a few options to improve the print of the logo so it was more vibrant.
.A range of sizes, it was brought up that some would like a selection of different sizes and he can accommodate the request for an additional charge over the standard size.
Pricing would likely be 15 to $20 each for the standard size with no min or max on the order and most important avoiding any setup fee this is a nice luxury to work with him on this project and one that could pave the path for other clubs as well. I certainly appreciate Mike and Scott's help with this. Please share your thoughts so we can draft up the next round of changes

Thanks
