:whoops: Just realized the rims I am cleaning up are only 15"x6.5". Question, will 10.5" wide tires fit on a 6.5" rim???

Now I am wondering if the backspacing is the same as the other 15"x8" and if it will clear the caliper. Man they were a lot of work blasting, sanding, priming, seam sealing, filling, sanding, priming and now two coats of top coat. Plan to do one more in the morning and mount my ATs. :bang: Ya, I know, it would have been brighter if I had tried the rim for size on the hubs before starting to make them look nice again. Guess I check caliper clearance tomorrow after the paint dries. :meh:

I run 9.5 inch on a 6 inch rim. I figure those tires will work fine on that rim. I think it is the maximum size for the rim though. But the bead will have a good hold at low pressure as compared to a skinnier tire. That is the pro of a your size on that rim. The con is possibly wear in the centre of the tread pattern and the possiblitly at lower pressure of a real rolling feel on the tire ( but I highly doubt it).

Let's see some pictures.
