It's that time of the year again Folks ... our final gig.

Time for The White Trash to bravely venture into Pushmataha County.

To seek out the natural beauty of the Kiamichi Mountains.

To review the glories of the past wheelin' season as it draws to a close.

To reflect upon the very essence of our club ... the true meanin' of bein' White Trash ...

and to drink an Un-Gawdly amount of friggin' beer. :grinpimp:

And if somebody bothers to show up that actu'ly knows the trails ... we'll even do some wheelin'.

Settin' up The Commune this year at the Clayton Country Inn. On the left side of the road on top of a hill 'bout a mile down 271 outta Clayton. Their office number's (918) 569-4165.

Since I'm halfway 'round the friggin' world right now ... Debbie's been kind enough to book our stay for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights (01 to 03 Nov.) and to provide the followin' info.

And I quote:

"I called the campground first thing this morning and spoke with Dick.

1. the hotel is booked-some family reunion going on.

2. RV hook-up sites $15.00 plus tax
Campground (tents) $5.00 per person

3. Will need to reserve with credit card (normal) be nice to get the reservations as soon as we can.

4. No group rates

5. 48 hour notice to cancel.

At this time the campground is wide open until Nov 16 but the man said that is always subject to change."

If ya got any more questions 'bout the campin', post 'em up ... Debbie reads this s*** ev'ry day.

:flamingo:

Damn ....

Hope there's room in the campground for this overwhelmin' response.

Looks like Debbie and I can leave all the gas cans for the cruiser at The 3X's and just bring beer. :grinpimp:

:flamingo:

You're certainly right about the overwhelming response

Sir I will be there. 'mite not make it to ICBM but I certainly will be in for Clayton.

I will not have a rig to wheel with since you said it's basically hard core trails. You also mentioned something about drinking, so more than likely, I don't think I will need a rig. So, not even the VP or any of the other officers of the WT will be attending.

You're certainly right about the overwhelming response.

So much for logistics & reservations!

Mr. Kowboy I need more info on the logistics to Clayton. Where's this gig it's going to take place?

Is this our meeting point? "Settin' up The Commune this year at the Clayton Country Inn.Their office number's (918) 569-4165."

I just spoke w/ Mr. Baker and He said that he's not going and that he knows nothing about that.

So much for logistics. ja! ja! ja!

I will be checking in for some response.

Sorry to cause any trouble! I just don't want to hear later "that's poor planning on your part ,Sir"

Hope there's room in the campground for this overwhelmin' response.

Sir, If weren't going to ICBM in Gilmer and then attending another run to Clayton the weekend after this, I would do my darnedest to attend.:grinpimp: It's been a while since I got to wheel with you guys, and it's a shame. But can't do 3 straight weekends of wheelin'.:frown: That there :princess: of mine says no! See you guys at Jambo (or ICBM for those of you making it to that).

The Mrs. and I plan to be there. Trying to talk some other folks into coming along as well but??? I've been looking forward to this one since last year!

I'll damn sure try. Gonna make ICBM the weekend before for sure. May have to ride with someone in CLayton if I make it. Anybody need a worthless spotter who can't cook or hardly wven open a beer?

Don't underestimate yourself Dave, according to Daryl, I am not that good either, ja! ja! .

" May have to ride with someone in CLayton if I make it." I am in the same situaton too.

Here's the plan, we let them go wheeling if they actually can do some. Meanwhile you and I will be guarding our fearless leader icechest. what you think? (let the record know I said "guard the Icechest", never mentioned Beer)

Cheers!

hope I can make both events!

If I get to make this it will be one of my last runs probably for a while. They announced today that business has been bad and going to be even worse for 08 so we have 60 days and they are closing our doors for good. So as of Dec 14 I will officially sign up for unemployment for the first time in my life. I really need a paid vacation for a while so I will take advantage of it.

I never said you were a bad spotter... you spotted the rocks in front of us just fine! Next step is to get comfortable with aiming FOR them instead of trying to aviod 'em....:D

Dearborn's still MIA ... Fro/Murmy are done with us for quite awhile too I'm afraid ... Fireman mite show ... and I think Josh is plannin' on it. He was tryin' to fix his junk when I was home last.

It's in Clayton ... which is in Oklahoma .. which is just north of Texas JP.

That's right ... we gonna camp there for the weekend. The hotel part of the place is booked but they got RV spots and tent spots behind the hotel. We checked it out last year when we left. Real nice place.

I just spoke w/ Mr. Baker and He said that he's not going and that he knows nothing about that.

Mr. Baker's a very busy man JP ... and he gets even grumpier than usual when people bother him. Nevertheless, it saddens me that Mr. Baker will not be in attendance.

Hope you can make it sir ... we need a guide.

Please notify the Dixon's and Dusty for me as well ... pretty please.

Bummer 'bout the job. :frown:

Get up with Mike ... he's got that unemployment s*** down pat. :flipoff2:

:flamingo:

I am struggling with work to attend ICBM, but my weekend is clear for the 3-4th, so if ICBM falls through I can make this.

I'll talk to Barb and we'll start figuring out the logistics.

Most likely would be a late Friday night arrival, we would prefer camping at CLSP rather than the parking lot of the Inn. :)

I can muddle around the K trails okay.

Domek, bring your junk. I'll be wheeling in Barb's Tacoma.

From our trip a couple of weeks ago: took busline to Black Fork/Cripple Creek trails:

Domek, if there's anything crazy going on, you can just watch, but otherwise the trails are passable in street tires with IFS, so you should have no problems.

I will not get lured into Snake Pit at night. :D

I'll be there if I don't break my junk working at Tellico the weekend before the run.

I have reserved a spot at the County Inn and yes Chris I will bring biscuits and gravy.:)
