I've been spending time lately learning how to drive the way ICBC all want us to drive. Man a guy can really pick up some habits over time. Add in a 13speed trans, tractor and 53' trailer and it was all a bit nuts. I had the big test today and other than two sets of traffic lights in the "4-way" stop mode and two construction zones with signs 1/2 on the road and orange delineators far to close together I made out OK. Kept the sign girls busy fixing there plastic stick maze anyways.

None the less, its all over now and with a class 1 and 6 I can drive just about anything on the road with wheels. Scary thought.

Its quite an intense and expensive process but to be honest it should take a lot longer to get licensed to drive one of these behemoths (IMO).

If anyone is ever interested in doing this look up Albion Driving School, Al can teach anyone to drive anything...... clearly. He has nerves of steel to boot. (lol)

Congrats Cam! You'll have to come to one of the meets again and divulge some wisdom.

I see a lot of driver training big rigs in my area of town, and pretty sure I've seen the Albion trucks too. Lots of respect here for the trainers and students alike.

Are you planning on buying a truck? Or driving for someone else? For some reason I thought you had a dump truck or something already?

Just looked up Class 1, and see that covers Class 2-5 as well. Heck, even covers driving buses, haha.

Nice job cam, my buddy just went through that process. Took him a second try cause of an awkwardly placed railroad track haha.

I figured it would come in handy for towing around an excavator, at present i'm maxed out for electric brakes. I don't plan on ever driving a bus but I suppose I could if I had to. lol.

Lilll drunkl... but I miss hangining with yu and Jabob .....Letrs doa camping rip slash drunk camp:p:p:beer:

You missed a gooder Rob..... Last weekend, Kesia made us all lamb and chicken kabobs with tzatziki, peta bread, some potato salad (which was the best I've ever had), salad. Coupled with wine and beer we had a great time and I more or less had to be rolled out of there. Best part of it was Jay and I didn't even get through it all so we both had leftovers for lunch the next day.

Next time we should all get together and feast.... and

We for sure need to get together..maybe I will head down to Vic when Jay is back in town and we could put a few hours in on his wagon....
