I' am 50:50 on this one --- too many house/yard/shop projects on the go. Spring comes on quick here and one 'must make hay when the sun is shining'

I will miss this one, could have been my 3rd. I'm here in the Philippines and flying back to Canada this Friday but would too much of a jet lag. Need to take a rest for it will a very busy work week after and for the rest of the year. Enjoy everyone.

Well since it looks like no one is planning to go to Churn this year Ronald and I have decided to go explore somewhere else.

We won't be there either now. Maybe next year.

Mud creek area wasn't so bad actually. We encountered some really nasty mud trying to locate Bedard lk near Bedard Aspen PP on the way back through upper hat creek. Road was freshly graded for logging and the clay was just nasty. First time I've seen Ronalds little goat get stuck. Of course my Giant mud hating pig got stuck 3 times. Oh well we wouldn't have the recovery gear if we didn't expect to use it I guess.

BTW I don't think Aspen Bedard PP and Bedard lk actually exist.

Saw some bears, a snake, some yahoos and a bobcat. Was a good trip.

Situated 40 km west of Cache Creek. To access the park, drive north from Cache Creek along Hwy # 97, west along Hwy # 99, then south along the Hat Creek road, turn left on Road 463 and follow the logging roads. Visitors should have access to a BC backroads map as there are numerous logging roads in the area. There is no road access to the lake. The nearest community, town or city is Cache Creek.

Where did you find those directions. Nothing we had said there was no road access.

We actually did find road access to the lake but it was more of a pond.
