My first post over here though i often snoop around..... Just wanted to share some pics of the test version chuck box that I threw together a while ago. Constructive criticism very welcome....

The goal was a setup which i could use to make just about anything i would make at home for w group of 6. Basically consists of a prep side and a cook side. There are 2 plastic pull out drawers one of which gets unloaded, attached to the side to serve as a sink. The T-fal set is great because it includes plastic lids for the pot so we can cook and just cover it up for the next day or whenever. The top shelf which holds the foil, baggies, paper towels etc has movable dividers so that it remains flexible as to what we bring.

It is too heavy and I think in the next version I can shave down the size a bit and still fit everything in. I also want to find an easier leg solution as this takes 2 to set up and even then it is awkward.

Thanks for posting.
Looks like you used hardwood plywood. Is the wood sealed?
How long have you had it? Any issues at the seams/joints?
Pardon the questions but I'm building a smaller version and am curious.
I especially dig the sink set up.

Pete,
Very nice work! I like it.

And you want to make it lighter? It looks like it weighs maybe 1/2 what mine weighs. I've been thinking to build a lighter one, so am very interested in how you slim down even more, if that's possible. You've already given me several ideas.
