***Check Your PS Reservoir***

This is a friendly reminder to check your Power Steering Hoses and Reservoir for leaks and cracks. Today I learned mine has a crack and it’s leaking. After 24 years and 250K miles, it was time for it to crack and leak. Ordered a new one from Longo Toyota with Same Day delivery. Replacing the Rubber hoses as well. They are Rock Hard!

Just noticed mine leaking yesterday. Any input on hoses? Replacing/what kind?

I sourced some Hydraulic hoses from a company called Hose-Man. They are have some stores in SoCal. They sell all types of Hoses for any small or large commercial projects. Was about $20-$30 bucks for the hydraulic hoses.

for the soft hoses 3/8 in hose rated for oil will be fine. gates is good hose and you can get it just about anywhere
