Check engine light and vss light

After putting my fj in 4wd for a minute took it off and all the lights stayed on. I was on the way to the dealer when the engine had a funny sound then the lights went off. Anyone have a clue why? Has it happened to you?

Check the Gas Cap.... turn everything off take the gas cap off and put it back on until it clicks and then start the truck and the lights should go off..

I was heading to starbucks this morning and I noticed that the lights were off. Thank god! Ill have to take it to the dealer and have them take a look. I hope I wasnt to rough on it 4 wheelin n down my street! LOL

Mine does this too, especially when going uphill with a full tank (even if the gascap did click) I also noticed a "suction" sound every 30 seconds near the gascap.. like it's sucking in air..
