Charcoal canister hoses

On my 99 LC with 289,000 miles I noticed that one of the hoses on it had a crack in it. I replaced it with some vacuum/windshield washer hose for now. Does this need to be replaced with something more durable like fuel line/pressure hose ? Thanks for your help!!

Fuel line hose is fine. That’s what I used with no problems noted.

You should change that windshield hose soon. It's for water, not fuel/petroleum. It will swell/crack sooner than later.

Fuel line hose is fine. That’s what I used with no problems noted
