Changing main gasket

Do you replace the bolts when you change main (top) gasket in your LJ70 engine? Where do you get those bolts if that is the case and to what price?? 18 bolts could be very expensive..

Yes, you should replace the bolts or you won't get the correct torque when you tighten the head down.

Mine cost me about $90 (Canadian Dollars) for the set.

The bolts are re-usable, only replace if you fail to reach the correct torque.

In Norway they are close to 180 US$ for the set, that is pretty expensive and that is why I am asking,
