Changing background color and font

I'm a new member and am having trouble seeing/reading content. The black background and grey text does not work well for me. How to I change the background to white and the text to black.

Some browsers will support user set fonts and colors. These have been the site colors for 15 years.

The black is GREAT for us midnight forum prowlers. Gotta give @woody props for saving me a GAZILLION A$$ eatings for being up at the wee hours and in bed to boot!

I also have trouble with reading here. I read a lot of online forums. but this background is just not right. I personally read a lot less here and log on less also.
I wish the back ground color could be a bit different. or make it at least less dark..
