I've got an oil leak that I'm trying to track down and fix and I need help from someone who knows the 1FZ and 80's in general. Any recommendations? Nature of the issue - I've got oil pooling on the engine under cover. In the 9 years that I've owned this rig (roughly 40K miles) the VCG, Disty O-ring, Oil Pans and Front Seal have been replaced. I know that oil runs and settles and that there are a lot of gaskets and seals to chase down, but I gotta believe this shouldn't be too hard for someone who knows this engine...I'm just a 2 banana guy on a good day and pressed for time. Not sure I could do this in my garage. I've attached a pic of the pooling oil fwiw.
Bottom line is that I think I'm gonna need some help on this. Looking for a shop that is knowledgable, fair and won't need to hold onto my rig for 2 weeks to get the job done...thanks in advance.
