New here. I’m getting an HZJ77 and am working it up. With front and rear lockers, is there a point to having a center diff lock?

With a part time 70 series, when you shift the transfer into H4/L4 the transfer locks the output to both front and rear driveshafts.
You can always go to the 80 Series section. They love to talk about “triple locked”.

I have seen people going from single- to triple-locked, not the other way around.

There's so many variations of 70 series Landcruiser that I wouldn't be sure this is gospel for all of them, but in general HZJs, like most pre 2007 70 series, have the 'split case' transfer case, which is a part time 4wd system & therefore has no centre differential. Like every other old skool 4wd, you already have the equivalent of a locked centre diff when you shift into 4wd.
