CEL came on the other day, so I pulled the code. It came up as a 7-1 EGR malfunction. I went ahead and reset the CEL, and the code came back the next day.
Last night I checked the EGR modulator (Green top), and it was clean, no carbon build up inside. I still need to test the modulator, and the EGR. Looking for the VSV, and I assume this is directly under the throttle body inside the intake plenum?
Any other tips in tracing this problem?
