cdl stuck on

So after my last wheeling trip I noticed my cdl is now engaged all the time. This is OK because I drive with the front hubs unlocked but do I need to worry or just go with it? Would it be a shorted switch or a tcase issue?

When I purchased my cruiser it was stuck off. With some light taps to the actuator while having someone cycle the switch it freed up and works great. worth a try.
