well.. ive thought about just putting in a CB Radio into the factory radio hole. Here are some I think might fit.

Now here is the issue. Unless you want to cut the dash plate.. otherwise we are looking at keeping it under 6.5" wide and 2" heigh and not more then 5" in depth... now there are a few that are like 1.5" heigh and might just work with the depth... because at the top of the factory hole as you go into the top up hit the windowwipers at 5". I think with ones that are shorter at 1.5" you can place them in the bottom of the hole and not hit the wipers and allow you for a longer radio.

or you can do a different approach and go this route as i was thinking of doing some time ago...

I've been looking for a CB for my pig...I think I want to put A radio of some kind in the dash, and my AC takes up most of the spaces that I could put a CB into, so i really like the idea of the last little compact version. I'm going to want to be able to hook up a PA, and it didn't list that option...I might end up just building an overhead mount...but worried that a swinging cord is going to really piss me off on the trail...
