What does everyone think of putting the CB channel you monitor on the rear window of your rig? If your driving alone and see a fellow offroader you could give them a shout.

What does everyone think of putting the CB channel you monitor on the rear window of your rig? If your driving alone and see a fellow offroader you could give them a shout.

I think on the surface it sounds fine, but given the state of the CB "community" these last, oh, 20 years or so, I think it would be like putting a bullseye on your back. Every CB troll that spots you would be heading to your channel just to see if they could get a rise out of you.

Don't know if they started it, but Norcal tradition and adopted by lots of us in SoCal is to use the day of the week unless it's the 9th or 19th, then we'll find another channel.

Never heard about 4 being used for offroaders. Good to know tho.
