Hi Everyone,

Been a long time, thought I'd drop a note and get back in touch.

Had a brief FB FJ40 tech interaction with Greg that reminded me how great it was having a bunch of people who knew their cruiser s***!!

Any way, been a busy 6 years since I left MS and the cruiser had been put away in a storage space with every-other yearly engine run. Been working on her for the past month to get her back running before me and the wify move to Oakland. Mostly ready for an inspection and street legalness.

Good to hear from you Jeff. I'm looking forward to finding some trails on the west coast, though I'm still set on making another wheelin' trip with CLC some day.

Barry, I actually just came across pictures from that lil' fishing trip we took. Had forgotten the gasket.

Anyhow, waiting for tuesday, when I go back to some wrenching and discovering some more things on the cruzer that did not like to be left for 6 years in storage.

lesson learned: keep up with heater hoses. They can burst under high rpms when old.

David.. Funny you would mention that!.. Shoulder still sore after the first time I took her for a drive 6 years later.. 'next' thing on my list when I settle down after the move. for now, trying to figure out if my clutch plate has all but disintegrated!!..
