Events/Trails Casner - September 28 - October 4, 2026

I (actually it wasn't me) was able to get through and received a reservation for a Casner permit this year.
We have a great week! We have the week of September 28 (Monday) through October 4 (Sunday). The run will most likely be on October 3rd.
I will post up more later, but wanted people to save the dates.
Thank you to @Saddletramp for getting the new week, as the week I got was not ideal.

I was planning to leave for a long road trip to Maine on the 3rd but Id be willing to delay that to do Casner Mtn. I keep hearing about it but the LC is always down or I'm busy when there's a run.

The jury is still out if Casner will be opened by the Forest Service. I have not contact them since the fire was put out. I will reach out and see what they have to say.
