Here is our latest step-by-step installation video for installing the VLine VL2 system into Lexus LX470 2004-2007:


The VLine VL2 system adds CarPlay and Android Auto (both wireless and wired) to the factory car stereo of the Lexus LX470 from 2004 to 2007, equipped with factory navigation. The compatible model is LEX4VL2.

The same installation steps apply when installing the GROM VLite VT2 System LEX4VT2. Both systems offer wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto. Here is the demo video we filmed on a 2007 Lexus LX470:



Both the GROM VLine VL2 and VLite VT2 systems now support a factory microphone for making calls and executing voice commands. There is no need to install the factory microphone.

A crucial and commonly occurring step to ensure the correct performance of the GROM VLine VL2 or VLite VT2 system in the vehicle is to disconnect any aftermarket device connected to the car stereo. This video has an example of how we disconnected the aftermarket device previously connected to the vehicle's stereo system:

Will this only be an option for the 2004+ model years?

Your able to control the climate through this device and run Android auto in the stock nav screen or am I missing something here?

You can control the climate using the factory stereo controls. Android Auto runs on the stock screen.
