Hey all,
I was wondering what would be the best way to secure my storage bin in the rear of the rig?
I was thinking about an "ELL" bracket to the front and the rear of the wheel wells.

What would be the best thing you use as a sealant between the tub and bolts?

Here's a couple of pics of what Ive got for referrence!
Its not done yet, but its more of a mock up to see if I like it!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks

Would placing a fat chick on top of it be out of the question?

I dont know , maybe make a L type of bracket and pick up some existing threaded hole's.

A guy I know used the floor cargo hooks on his 80 to secure the cargo box. He used a turnbuckle to with a J hook to hook to the mounts on the floor. I think he had a closed ended hook going through the top of the storage platform with the threads coming through the bottom. The turnbuckle was then threaded on the J hook and the closed ended hook through the top and tightened down.

Hopefully this all makes sense, but if not I can try to clarify. I can't find a picture of his set-up either right now to show you.

I was trying to figure a way to user the factory hooks as well, but the problem is, that everything that I think of will severly hamper the un-obstructed space that I have...
I donno, maybe I can fab something off the holes for the factory hooks!?

thanks,
