Phil,
Not to bust your chops but did you read the entire thread? bpenn discovered his truck was missing the front diff lock wiring harness. If this is your problem then you know you have to replace that harness. If this isn't your problem then you did not read the thread.

If you are having different problems then you will be better off starting a new thread and ask for assistance. We already helped bpenn find the problem with his.

UPDATE:
I received my front locker harness earlier this week from Dan (thank you!) and just crawled under there tonight to hook it up. All the original plastic brackets were still attached to the frame so I'm a little confused why they'd still be there if they had removed the harness? Regardless, I'm now plugged in and will give it a work out this weekend in Joshua Tree! :D

Thanks all for the help and I'm hoping its not frozen after 14 years of non use!

Joshua Tree got canned since I got sick...bummer

But, on the way back from the Dr's office yesterday I found the only other dirt patch in Los Angeles and locked it up to see how the front would respond. Front locked up within 2 seconds!!! Amazing, the rear locker takes a lot longer, like 20 seconds sometimes....
