If you look next to when you posted, at the bottom under all that stuff there's three bars click that and it'll give you the edit post option.

I think these are the bars you were talking about, but I only see one option on my iPhone. No worries, I'm sure it will check out on the computer. I goofed up and wanted to edit in a thread, I came here to practice

As a new member, I believe your abilities are limited (until 10 posts?). I have a vague recollection that editing is one of those abilities.... possibly to limit what spamtards who make it into the forum can do before they are IDed and squashed manually.
