Someone has to have more pics!!! :D

Glad you guys had a good time, that place is awesome.

I was thinking the same thing myself Andy!

We have a few more pics trying to get them all rounded up though, heres a few more, we actually didn't take as many as we should have, but that meant less stopping and more riding.

Yeah, no pics of me dragging the broken Heep up the hill.
One of these days, I'll convince him he needs an FJ cruiser....then we would have been changing a ring and pinion instead of a broken axle.

It was definitely a good time and we'll go back and explore the other half of the trail system...lots of stuff still to see there.

Could a stock hundy do these trails, they look great? The pictures look pretty tame.

Thanks,

Yep, a stock 100 can and has done many of the trails. You'll most likely get some pin striping from tight spots and you'll want to remove your running boards if they are still on but otherwise, you'll be fine.

I have lots of pin stripes already. Running boards will have to get bent until the sliders are purchased. I have two little ones that use those boards everyday.

After seeing a stock 1995 4runner with slick tires and running boards do a bunch of stuff at uwharrie, I believe the stock 100 can do just as well as that 4runner did.

This pics look great, still trying to see if my schedule will allow for the December trip. Does anyone have any info on how to get to Caney Fork or directions to where the North Meets South event will be taking place. I would like to go check them both out this weekend. I know how to get to the Badin Lake area, its really the specifics once I am up there. Thanks!

there should be directions posted on the N meets S thread about how to get there, but if not is off nc hwy 109 south in El Dorado. There is a bp station referenced as the outpost that is generally used as a meeting spot. They have maps and sell trail passes there. Sounds like the group might meet at the badin lake group camping spot. Thats a hard one to spell out online but if you can find a link to the maps they give out at the outpost it is listed. ill peek around for links.

check your pms about caney fork

you would be fine in the 100 if accepting of some stipes. we had an 04 join us last month on some of the harder trails at that, and andy's previous hundred made the trip several times. you should def. join us some time.

Ha, ha. I haven't seen those pics in a long time.

Man, that trip was a blast. Brings back great memories, thanks Jason!

Thanks for the info jfz80, I really appreciate it. Hopefully I will be able to manuver my schedule to be able to come to the North/South trip.

Thanks again, Brian

It was good meeting you on the UC tour of the holyland. Glad the pig is home. I had lunch with your Uncle Jerry yesterday, and he is proud of both you and your dog - - especially your dog for peeing on a UNC man's tent.:D

Glad to see the rest of ONSC got out Sunday afternoon. I met the rest of the crew who stayed behind to install th jxxp axle this past Sunday. (My daughter wanted to take a hike to see where I camped the week before). That was dedication on the part of ONSC in driving back to W-S to pick up a new axle.

I too am thinking about Uwharrie . . .
