Onesprung,
YOu found another problem with my cruiser and thanks to Rob (chitown40) all my hoses a now correct and Eleanor is puring.

Landpimp,
thought you would see the problem. THe image is flipped but I doesn't change the problem.

Patride,
150 bucks for the epoxy, new gaskets and time. Ate up my camping/springbreak trip money, but atleast she's running.

Come one guys. Here's a clue. 2 Things in this picture have to be flush to function properlly.
Good Luck.

ROB Thanks again. <-- He pretty much fixed Eleanor by himself.

landpimp, could you take some more pics of your engine. Of all the info from posts i have used, that one pic helped the most. i had re-routed a few vac lines off your pic and now it holds idle at the stops lights. My green vtv was backwards, thank you toyota dealership. Man if could get pics of the rest of the engine bay, i might be able to fix all the gremlins.

thanks again,

if you need something else, I got more, I took a ton of pics before we tore the intake/exhaust off................so we could get it back together right

thanks, i added those to my collection of cruiser pics

Probably akin to sacrilege, but I was just razzin' the Pimp 'cause I saw a couple of teeny specks of r#&t on his rig. Figured even he'd eventually tire of having everyone drool over his Cruiser(s) :D

its way cleaner now, with the new parts on it. But all your seeing is a new carb and some paint on the air cleaner.........other than that its the way it came when I got it.

pissed about the air rail, its rusty and I was too cheap to spend $200 on a new one ;)

My god, Landpimp. I'm in awe. How much time and money does it take to get it that clean?

its on the hood and yes its from my 82 fj40............how many other JD green 40's ya seen around here ? :D

It just hit me when you said its on the hood that we used the vacuum hose diagram from a 40 to re-do Patrick's. But, then it came back and hit me again that late model 40's 2F emissions stuff is the same as on a 60.
