The shots of mine are on Big Sluice too. Probably some of the tightest sections for an 80 are right there.

As Derek said, the more the merrier... :)

Derek & Doug,
Let me know when, I'm in. If it doesn't stop snowing up here we won't get in until July!

We do our annual NorCal run in August (I think the third week this year). It's mostly wagons, with a few odds and ends like 40s and pickups. Usually around 8-12 rigs, and a really good group of people, and REALLY good food.

If you PM me your email address, I'll send you an invite to our local (sort of) group, where these trips get planned and discussed.

As the numbers increase so does the capability of the truck as long as it's two digits. Once they get to three digits they are only superior in the head of Shotts! :shotts: :flipoff2: :D

Fixed it.....couldn't resist! :D

14-16mpg highway is the norm

 wow!!! thats a pretty good norm. I never even got close to 13mpg when I was stock. Best I get now fully modded is 11-12.5mpg. Doesn't matter, you can't really complain with such a cool rig.

You're in LA. Can you get up to what most consider to be "normal highway speed" for any length of time?

:D

My wife's mostly stock LX 450 gets about 16 or 17 when on the highway. Mine's very lucky to get 14 (but I've got larger tires, so that helps on highway fuel economy).

Hehe, it's all muscle!

Yeah, 600 pounds of armor will not help mileage...

80 or LX?

Romer,

Very nice fleet. The 80 looks Lexus with the lines on the wheels, is it? Why no snorkel? Just curious.

BTW, I'm looking for a blower, and an ARB ft bumper. Know of any?
