I am rebuilding the front hubs on my 1997 80-series LC and found these broken parts stuck to the wall of the driver's side knuckle. The two long parts were stuck together, and to the wall of the knuckle, by the broken short piece which is magnetic. Does anyone have any idea what these parts are and where they came from. The LC seemed to running fine prior to the knuckle rebuild. I'm hoping they are an overlooked artifact from some prior issue and did not migrate into the knuckle from the front diff, it seems unlikely they could have gotten past the inner axle seal. The top and bottom knuckle bearings were both in good shape when the knuckle was removed. I recently replaced my front axle gearing. When draining the front diff oil I noticed the diff plug had some minor metal shavings on it consistent with recent re-gear but nothing unusual? Thoughts?

You can probably disregard the above, after going through my Maintenance Log I saw that a ABS sensor got chewed up in that knuckle a few years back and I think these might be pieces that got over looked, but if you recognize it as something else please comment.

The tapered tips definalty look like ABS sencor tips. Looked ay mine today when I wiped them off during the rebuild.
