Can these warn boxes be swapped out?

Can the new warn 8274 box be put on the older style. Or can i purchase a new one to replace my older one?

Yes-direct bolt on. I put a new box on my old winch. It came with the new 5 pin control. Takes 10 minutes if you work slow.
