Can someone tell me these part names. For reference is a 1994 FZJ80 with 1FZFE. It’s a JDM RHD import.

Just curious what the part names are. Had the 80 for about two months and just learning as much as I can about. Also if someone has a good video for removing the IAC valve feel free to drop a link. I have developed a little bit of a low idle on a cold start. It used to IDLE at like 1200-1300 and then slowly drop down but now it goes to 1100 and quickly drops to 850-900. I’ve seen a couple threads about this, but no concrete solutions.

Download the FSM (Factory Service Manual) from the Resources section at the top of the page.

Also, use partsouq.com for tracking down PNs. Enter your vin there and locate the diagram(s) that contain the parts you need.

The idle air control valve is "easy" to replace. It's NLA for '94s, but the '95-'97 part (which is still available) works just fine. The other thing to check is your throttle position sensor. I had to replace both parts on my wife's '94. It idles just as it should now.

Since you're in TN, I assume that you don't have to smog a 32 y/o truck. I would pull off the entire PAIR system and de-smog your rig... including the EGR system. Your engine bay will seem empty and much better organized. Lots of room for activities!

Lastly, before you start throwing money at parts, double check ALL of your vacuum hoses. The large hose that runs from the air filter box to the throttle body could easily have a crack on the underside of it. When I was struggling with idle issues, sure enough that hose was cracked on the underside of it. It would have been impossible to see the crack without pulling the hose.

Yeah I don’t know how to delete the EGR. I’ve heard of people doing just don’t know how to do it. Also the FSM I downloaded didn’t show me the part that is connected to the air filter. Any good ideas for checking vacuum lines?

Start with the big hose that runs from the airbox to the throttle body. Pull it, and inspect it. Cracks develop in the "accordion" sections of it.

I would also pull and clean your throttle body... steps and pics are in the FSM. It can seem daunting at first, but these engines and associated components are straight forward to work on.

Also, as you're a new fella here, you need a Mud salute...

Are you sure you downloaded the correct year? Only the '93-'94 USDM models have this part, and the service manuals in the Resources section, unless specifically noted otherwise, are for USDM models. These are from the 1994 service manual:

The black arrow in your second photo is pointing to the rear of the power steering pump.

Bend them. If they crack, they are in need of replacement. If they're hard, they are in need of replacement. If they're original, they are in need of replacement.

Three feet of vacuum line (part number 90999-92004) from the dealership will cost you $15.

Just wanted to follow up on this. I also had a faulty thermostat. I changed it out this past weekend. I let it idle for a while to burp the system snd it idled a little low. However, after burping the coolant system and filling with new coolant, the idle seems to have returned to normal. It is now idling at around 1800-1900 RPMS and dropping to spring 700-950 when warm. Not sure if a bad thermostat can a rough idle but that is the only thing I have changed.
