Can anyone tell me what this is or how it works?

I finished installing a redark trailer brake controller today and unfortunately found that the previous owner really did a lot of hacking into the wiring near the trailer brake controller plug on my 2019 Land Cruiser.

There’s about 10 T-style wire tap connectors going to a bunch of different wires. Two of the wires go down to a small button screwed into the lower dash panel. I entered the pictures into AI and I told me it’s likely some sort of “valet” mode button.

Has anyone seen one of these before or have any idea where I could find a wiring diagram, manufacturer, or some sort of installation instructions? I’m scared to death to push that button because I don’t know what it’ll do so I just left everything in place. I would like to remove it and get rid of the t-taps to avoid a potential issue down the road, but that’s not something I’m willing to do with guess work at this point.

Dealer installed alarm or immobilizer or something. A few of my vehicles have had something like this installed when I bought new. Should be safe to remove.

I'm still baffled why a dealer in 2019 would install an aftermarket alarm in a modern Toyota. Is not like in the 90's when factory alarm was a premium option.
