I have a Toyota land cruiser 2005 automatic diesel. From time to time the engine switches off. It switches off at low speeds 10-20 km/h or when it's in neutral. I have to disconnect the battery, connect it again and then it can ignite again. The flow of fuel is ok , the diagnostic program shows nothing. The Toyota service and other service centers can not find the problem. Does anyone have any clue why this happens? Any information will help. Thank you.

After it runs awhile, does the ignition switch/key get hot? Does it have a fuel pump relay? Until the part that is defective finally quits, you can never diagnose what the problem is. Looking at a wiring diagram and studying it or reading in a repair manual how the components work, you can isolate the part that may be causing the problem. Possible causes are a bad ignition switch or neutral switch.
