I turn the adjustment screw on my power steering box in 1 full turn it will quite wound out not sure if it’s supposed to be and it didn’t make any different still a s*** ton of play in my steering wheel any suggestions?

After adjusting, your play got worse or nothing happened? Play is normal at the age of these trucks, some worse than others, and at some point my understanding is that adjusting it will do absolutely nothing or you will end up with potential binding/still play.

It made no difference the play with still the same

The adjustment screw is not enough to eliminate the play your steering box.
You may need a steering gear box rebuild.
