Most of you have probably seen this thread or read about it somewhere, but he is coming through the area next week. I believe he will be overnighting in Osage City with Mark, and then heading through Kansas City up north to Iowa. I plan on meeting him somewhere along his way through KC, to either lunch with him or just shoot the breeze. I do not have specific details yet, but if anyone from the club would like to join, please watch this thread and I will update it with more specific details, as I get to know it.

Mark, do you know when they'll be at your place? I gave him my # if they need stuff in between. And I'll be heading that way too, maybe even with some wheels for Matt's brother, along with some more going to Tall Corn.
 
just spoke to rob....he is in edmond oklahoma...he is planning on leaving around 7am...i think...he is about 7 hours from here....in cruiser time of coarse...anyone that wants to is welcome to come on over and say hi....pm me if anyone needs directions

yeppers...rob rolled in yesterday afternoon...we spent the rest of the afternoon visiting and touring osage city...took him down to the shop so he could drool over the 55 and 45 as well as a toyota parts manual i managed to get my hands on....his truck is awesome...bone stock...it is amazing 4100 mile with no...i mean no creature comforts...the highlight of his visit was a rear confer bench seat for jakes 40 that hitched a ride to kansas all the way from georg's place....you should have seen the look on jakes face...also my family got some really cool t shirts and a plaque....rob was a fabulous house guest...kinda boring he went to bed at 8...we hardly knew he was here...he should be in iowa tonight....i am thrilled to have been able to be apart of robs great adventure....

Well heck, guess he headed right through and decided not to stop in. Sounds like y'all had a good time.
