I am in the process of installing the Cali Raised switch for LED bar. Can anyone who has installed LED bar or after market lights confirm that the green wire is the one to piggy back off of an existing switch to get the backlit on the switch to light up when the parking or headlights are on? Cali Raised switch has the yellow wire that is supposed to hook up to the wire for the backlit, but not sure if it is the green wire. ChatGPT tells me its the green wire on an existing switch.

I don't have a Cali Raised Toyota fit switch to see the color coding; however, these are all about the same internal workings. top is power in, #2 is switched power out to what you are trying to control, #3 is illumination POS and #4 is illumination NEG. #2 also illuminates the switch ON diode which is also grounded to #4
Illumination + is feed from OE Green and Illumination Neg is connected to OE White. ... do not reverse these as a) you'll blow the diode and b) the OE illumination switching is controlled from the negative side.

Thanks for the reply. I am going off this video as this is the same led bar and switch. Its just the last yellow one.

I guess I overlooked that you were referring to a dual function switch. wiring for that is :
#1 (top) - controls /connects to accessory (upper);
#2 should be 12v power in;
#3 illumination NEG circuit;
#4 (yellow) illumination POS;
#5 (bottom) controls/connects to accessory (lower)

So what wire could I connect the yellow wire to get the switch to light up when the parking lights are turned on?

I, not sure of the year of your LC and wiring did change post 2016+; however on my 2020 ,+ illumination is feed from OE Green and Illumination Neg is connected to OE White.
