Cable locker indicator switch

I need a new set of switches (the ones that are on the dif itself) but the 70 series switch is NLA- here in Japan at least. Anyone have a clue as to where to get a good used set or any other alternatives such as e-locker switches etc.?

Hi Pete, I put a pair of micro contact switches in the levers and works perfectly, tomorrow take a pictures for you

Andres- I have a similar plan.

But I realized that the lockers do not always lock and unlock immediately with the lever as the echinus min the dif is spring loaded.

They look the same as the door courtesy switches as a 60/61/62 series.


In fact I bet they are the same switches.

I used the door switch on my home brew setup and may stick with it. The late 40s use the same switch and it's cheap- like 5 bucks.

But what I'm looking for is a replacement for the indicator switch located on the dif housing. I'm thinking an e- locker or transmission (reverse indicator) might be the same switch differing only in the wiring connectors. The original 70 series had pigtails that have been cut off. I'm going to try pulling some indicators off my tranny and see what I get....
