Need bed mounts for a 1983 45lwb pickup.
I have a few questions after reading the related posts:
Since this truck is stock and driven only on pavement and not hauling heavy loads...
Do I use the c-shaped mounts as on the pre-79 FJ40s?
Any advantages to using poly mounts versus OEM rubber, other than maybe cost?---- And do the advantages also relate to the round cab mount donuts as well?
I think Specter and TLC4x4 sell Daystar (not sure about CCOT), yet I hear some of you choosing Energy Suspension--why?
And , if available, do I choose hard or soft compounds for these?
