Bylaws sections​

Addition to Article VII (A)
A. The President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director at Large, and Directors shall be elected by vote of the Club members at the Annual meeting for a period of one (1) year. Terms are limited to two (2) consecutive years in each office. To be eligible for nomination, prospective officers shall be members in good standing. Elected officers shall maintain their membership throughout their elected term.

Addition to Article III Section 2.
Dues are payable in full at the General meeting at the time the member joins and the anniversary month of each existing membership. Existing members shall have their dues anniversary date shifted to fall on the next occurrence of 1 April or 1 October to have all membership dues on those dates.

Section 10 Military Members
Military members that are members in good standing that receive deployment orders shall remain in good standing during their period of deployment. Dues for deployed members are automatically extended for the duration of their deployment.


Please respond with any changes you may have to the above wording. The basic ideas were accepted by the group, it was only the actual wording that needed work.

The changes to the Bylaws will be voted on at the March Meeting.

Not sure if I can make it to the meeting Tuesday, as my daughter is returning Tuesday afternoon from her deployment to Kazahkstan. I do, however, support the proposed changes and I think they are well written to accomplish their intended goals. To the authors, thanks for doing this work. We've been discussing it for quite some time and it will move us ahead in our policies and dues-collecting efficiencies.
