All of the LCs and LXs affected by the recall should be fixed by now, or very soon. Most of the new ones waiting to sell were done in February, but maybe CPOs are slightly later? My dealership had a CPO and that was already done.

Well... my dealer is still waiting on parts for my 2013LC - no repair possible yet.

FYI

I am very sorry to hear that! My dealership said they likely did not order the parts until late because parts started arriving in February. I hope the parts come soon! Once they arrive, it's a very quick fix.

Today I finally got through to someone at Toyota corporate who cleared the situation up for me. According to him, not all 2008-2019 Land Cruisers / LX570's require the same fix. Some model years only require a simple fix, others are more complicated, and some model years do not have an identified fix yet. Unfortunately, my 2013LC falls into the last group - no fix identified yet. He was unable to give me any info on when a fix might be available other than "months."

Oh, well...

Thanks so much for posting that, as I am sure it's very helpful to other folks. That is very interesting, I bet it has to do with changes to the passenger seatbelt tensioner sensor, which is the actual fix. I'm really sorry about the delay and hope it moves soon!!!

So the dealers can get the parts for the recall and get it done? I have a service appointment tomorrow and will ask about the recall fix.

any update with this? I still do not see much for sale at lexus dealers. Also do not see any CPO in the country.

I talked to Lexus customer service today about my 2018 LX and they are still not ready to recall it.

Toyota dealer serviced my '15 couple weeks ago - no parts to complete recall - (5/2019)
