Busy Week at the House (chat)

Looking for a flurry of activity this week... Plumber coming to replace main water shutoff just inside foundation. No leaks, just doesn't close 100%. Probably an 80 year old valve or so. Roofers coming to remove shingles/underlayment and re-roof. Can't complain as it is the original roof making it around 80 years old this year. HVAC contractor coming in to replace AC unit which gave up the ghost Saturday. Can't complain here either as it is a '69 model. We'll be spending nights at Shannon's folks as it is over 90 upstairs. It'd been nice to spread these out over even a few months. Anyone want a lifted LX450? Just kidding - Shannon wants to wheel it a couple of times before she makes her final judgment on it. Heading back to the basement where it is cool - started sweating just typing this!

Yes, we have cool air - house is down to 83 from over 90 this afternoon.
