They barred the little ones like that from public roads over here, something about the rising death toll among would be matadors, in pub car parks, after closing time.
They did however leave the larger ones on the front of road trains, for whom anything that moves is considered a fair target.
Many of us non road road train drivers resorted to adding a mobile phone antenna to the spare bracket.
I still, somewhat wistfully, recall the good old days before the crackdown....I could have made ACE...I could have...really...just one more weekend...
