sorry, won't fit an FJC without extensive modification (i built it to tight tolerances for the floor/interior of a LC200).

also, this is a very heavy compared to most drawer systems: no composite wood and a lot of steel reinforcement at important points. i haven't weighed it, but would guess it to be at least 150 lbs. it is also taller than most drawer systems, again by design. i built it to safely store expensive/high theft items from determined individuals. in a beast like the 200 though, you don't notice the weight, even loaded. such a big, heavy drawer system in an FJC or 4runner would not be a great idea, IMO.

really like Slee and AO systems, and would be a perfect size, again IMO, for a smaller SUV. good luck.

Mark,

I knew there was no chance of a FJC fit, I was complimenting it by how high I held the work's quality. Sorry for the rambling...good job!

Thanks for showing us the work.

Richard

misunderstood your original post, 007 FJ, but thanx for the compliements.

What changes are to come if any???

downsizing. got married and now have two growing boys and a girl...and three dogs!

installed my left third row so i will make a half-side storage for the right side, just big enough for the essentials. but still cruiser tough.

my next big project is actually the conversion of my M101 trailer to an expedition trailer. it is a great platform to build off of...stay tuned.
