It's taken a while, but my 89 FJ62 is starting to take shape. Luckily, I started with a really sound truck, but she was definitely a Monet; good from afar, but far from good. She had some hail damage and oxidation that definitely needed to be fixed. I gutted the interior and exterior trim, making sure to bag and tag everything. I only had to grind off one bolt! I am pretty sure I have everything ready to start reassembly next week.

Yes, I am. trying to stay as original as possible. The only thing not OEM is the seat covers. I actually don't like the beige mattress ticking fabric of the OEM seat covers. I went with the ones from Cruiser Corps and got the fabric and matching vinyl for the door panels.
 
Love the two tone! Can’t wait to see your progress!

You're in a much better starting position than I am, but i'm excited to watch a 2-tone get updated :)
