Yea, If I come I'll be solo. Rebecca and the kids will be at a birthday party. It a friend at school so I'm off the hook. Cruiser time. :D I can get the key to Rebecca office and park right there if you want. She offered earlier. Its next tot he post office.

Can we go early and put my truck there???

....and is her boss gonna make me sweep up rocks??

SHe said thats fine, she already told him we might do that. :)

Alot different....

Hell, that's not what I was thinking at all.. was thinking there were a set that was not split rims but intact and looked like the old 40's.

I like those... esp if they were black! :D

... thats not me watering the tires. Butch sent the pic.

That's what I'd say too if I just posted a pic of myself and realized I was peeing on a tire!

Cool rims....

I'd keep the white spoked rims, blast em, powder coat them black

The chop was good... but those must be 53's

Ok so when will we be able to buy some BSLC gear????????????

Awesome question!

Ya know.. we've been talking that topic up many many days.

I will make a post for you guys this pm. We'll also mention it in email and at the meeting.

Problem w/ mud is that we NEED to convince the rest of the brethren to SIGN UP and check the board.

Thanks!
me

No kidding Speedn! We're awfully close to getting some gear out there. A lot of hours have been put into that very topic! I think you all are going to like the shirts we're going to come out with. I can't wait to put a big old BSLCA sticker on my 62 whenever that BIATCH gets running!

Good pics, and a great time. Thanks for letting a straggler hang out. :) Deryl, Scott has been working hard for several months on our T-Shirts and BSLCA gear on his own $. He tried a local company and it didn't work out and lost money on the deal. Since Scott has been in communication with Jeff with Cottonland Cruisers our good neighbors in Jackson, MS and he's helping put something together. Scott can elaborate and as mentioned above we'll discuss at the meeting and try to get a count on T-Shirts to start. Look for an email or post here for the latest. Have a good Sunday my friend; wish you were able to make it to the meeting so we can talk cruiser.

It was a good meeting guys and turned out to be a great day. As always I enjoyed the good company and cruiser talk.

I wish I could have made it to the meeting. I saw the pictures, seems like a good turn out. I really appreciate all the hard work with the club and the t-shirts. I'm ready to sport my cruiser bling.

Thanks for the support Deryl. The club is headed in the right direction and the hard work is paying off and we can start having fun. We have a good group of guys and its going to continue to get better. I spoke to Jason again at the meeting and he's made every meeting so far from Baton Rouge so if you decide you want to catch a ride with him he said he'd be happy to have you jump in with him. We look forward to putting a face with the name. :)

:bounce: Happy Mardi Gras BSLCA!!!!:bounce2:

I'm gonna work :crybaby:

Sorry to hear that bud, I was out cruising with the kids. We caught the last parade. :) Was going to call you so we could all get together and catch a movie but my crew slept in the cruiser all the way back, how I don't know

Hey, no problem. Thanks anyway. I'll catch you next time. Maybe this weekend?

Got a basketball game and I think other than Fri we're good.... but I don't control the calendar!

me!

...As for the milemarker I had guys I know that ran the 10000lb hydraulic and steadily burned up PS pumps. I was never impressed by the ones I've seen being used out on the trails. Maybe they've gotten better. In my opinion its a double edged sword to have your PS pump burn up and lose the use of your winch out on the trail for a weekend. However I have seen some of their electric winches the 11000,12000lb winches that perfomed as well as the Warns.

I hear you... http://www.milemarker.com/history.html
had me considering it...pretty convincing statements/claims there that's for sure.....but of course, if you're fording rivers in a gasoline-powered rig, you could easily end up with a stalled engine, and PTO and Hydraulic only work if your engine is running...I'd take my chances in a BJ-series though.... ;)

My experience between the mile marker and the warn electric winches is about the same. I think you may pay more for a warn due to the name brand....

I know someone who has a 8000 electric mile marker brand new in the box....If you want I can call to see if he will part with it....
